Upmarket west end agent LDG has noticed massive increase in students from Asia, Europe and Russia renting expensive London property. Students with budgets of £1000 pw are looking for central, modern, two bed apartments. Bloomsbury seems to be a popular location as it is close to many top universities. As a foreign student you are required to pay up to 6 months rent in advance, (if you do not have relatives in the country), which means many scholars are paying £25,000 upfront!
