The Residential Rental Price Index is reporting that the average rental price for property in the UK is up compared to last month. The average rental price for a property in the UK for May 2008 is at £704.00 per month compared with £600.00 on the previous month April 2008.The increase is compared to a slight drop that was experienced from March 2008 to April 2008 and it will be interesting to see if the trend continues through June 2008. The data used to gather the statistics is from all of the member letting agents that upload property to the Rentright website and should only be used as a guideline. Rentright is continuing to go from strength to strength and May 2008 has seen a record month for the number of unique visitors who clicked on to the website. Over the last couple of months we have been working hard to make sure that the property and letting agents on the site are receiving extra traffic and exposure and this is beginning to pay off. As would be expected December was a quiet month but since the turn of the year the first five months has seen a good increase in unique visitor traffic levels right up until end of May 2008 which has seen us achieve our record number of unique visitors that we have recorded so far.It does not stop here and we are anticipating another excellent month as we move into the last one of the quarter.
